Anas Bamusa: Gombe United General Manager




Anas Bamusa is  a renowned football administrator  born on July 20, 1980, in Kwami Local Government, Gombe State. He earned his Masters in Public Administration  from Gombe State University; degree in Sociology and Anthropology,had his primary school at Jankai Primary School, Gombe before completing his secondary school at the first private school in Gombe: Gombe High School 

The Chief Program Officer, National Orientation Agency (NOA),Anas Bamusa has commissioned Nigeria's second tier league,NNL.
Because of his expertise and no - nonsense approach to league matches he was promoted to the elite: the Nigeria Premier Football League, where he commissioned top notch fixtures successfully. 

The Gado da Masun Kwami has been a football administrator since from kindergarten and early teenagehood.Since then he has been the Team Manager of an amateur football club, Gombe Lions.
The vast traveling football administrator before his appointment on October 18, 2024 as the General Manager of Gombe United by his Excellency Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya,he was elected as a board member of Gombe State Football Association (F.A).
The young promising football administrator has received several awards of excellence for his contribution to sports development, football in particular in Gombe State 

Armed with glaring and intimidating CV and expertise, Anas Bamusa appointment as the General Manager of Gombe United is a right peg in a right hole.

 Outside of his professional life, he enjoys traveling and football. He is happily married to two wives and eight children.

By Halilu Mohammed Teli  Football fever is set to grip Gombe South once again as the 9th edition of the Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup officially kicks off, with Binge Flying Bees taking on Super Lions Kalshin in what promises to be a thrilling opening encounter on the 5th of December 2025, at Olusegun Obasanjo Stadium, Kaltugo. This year’s draws, conducted at Amdo Adore Event Center, Kaltugo,Kaltungo Local Government Area, brought together a record 64 football clubs drawn from across Kaltungo, Billiri, Balanga, and Shongom LGAs. The massive turnout underlines the competition’s reputation as the biggest grassroots football tournament in Gombe State and one of the most consistent community-driven competitions in Nigeria.
