DanMajeCup25: Larry Daniel Describes Sports as Tool for Youth Engagement and Economic Growth

Declaring the tournament open, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Malam Inuwa Adamu Pantami, described the competition as one of the most remarkable youth-oriented events in the state’s calendar. He commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for laying a solid foundation for the success of grassroots sports in the state. Velocity Humanitarian Foundation Settle Outstanding Tuition Fees for Gombe Indigenous Students at GSU

Gombe, July 29, 2025 — In a significant move aimed at supporting education and youth development in Gombe State, the Velocity Humanitarian Foundation has announced its decision to pay the outstanding tuition fees of indigenous students studying at Gombe State University (GSU). The Founder of the foundation, Engineer Aliyu Mohammed, made this known in a statement released to the press on Monday. According to him, the intervention will cover students who have either not paid at all or have made only partial payments toward their tuition. “This initiative is not an act of charity; it is a moral obligation and a strategic investment in the potential of our youth and the development of Gombe State,” Engineer Aliyu stated.
