#NNL25: Gombe United Bolster Squad Ahead of Second Stanza

Gombe United Football Club have rejigged their squad by recruiting new five players and promoting three academy lads ahead of the second round of the 2025 Nigeria National League(NNL) season.  The General Manager of the club, Alh. Anas Bamusa said the reinforcement is meant to make positive impact in the second round of the Nigerian most important league. A media release from the Head of Media and Communication,Shuaibu Muhammad Angazy, “These signings and promotions reflect our dedication to competing at the highest level. We believe they will make a significant impact in our pursuit of promotion back to the NPFL. Gombe State FA Chairman Sponsors Maiden Gombe State Inter -Security Agencies Football Competitive

Nigeria Civil and Security Defence Corps NSCDC will trade tackle Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in the opening match of the maiden edition of the Gombe State Inter Security Agencies Unity Football Competition. This followed the draws conducted at the conference hall of the State Ministry of Internal Security and Ethical Orientation as twelve security agencies were paired four each in three groups. The competition sponsored by the chairman of Gombe State Football Association (F.A),Mr Philibus Yakubu Sarma will kicked off on the 20th of this month at the Pantami stadium. 12th February,  2025 Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has given insights into his administration’s strides during the opening of a two-day retreat for members of the Jigawa State Executive Council and top government officials in Gombe. Drawing inferences from peer learning and sharing of best practices, the Governor outlined key milestones of his government, including the Network 11-100 road project, the Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park, healthcare reforms and urban renewal through digitized land administration.  He also spoke on the State's consistent ranking as Nigeria’s top state for ease of doing business and the Gombe Goes Green (3G) initiative.
