Gombe United Football Club have rejigged their squad by recruiting new five players and promoting three academy lads ahead of the second round of the 2025 Nigeria National League(NNL) season.  The General Manager of the club, Alh. Anas Bamusa said the reinforcement is meant to make positive impact in the second round of the Nigerian most important league. Nigeria Civil and Security Defence Corps NSCDC will trade tackle Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in the opening match of the maiden edition of the Gombe State Inter Security Agencies Unity Football Competition. This followed the draws conducted at the conference hall of the State Ministry of Internal Security and Ethical Orientation as twelve security agencies were paired four each in three groups.
