#NNL25: Gombe United Bolster Squad Ahead of Second Stanza



Gombe United Football Club have rejigged their squad by recruiting new five players and promoting three academy lads ahead of the second round of the 2025 Nigeria National League(NNL) season.

 The General Manager of the club, Alh. Anas Bamusa said the reinforcement is meant to make positive impact in the second round of the Nigerian most important league.

A media release from the Head of Media and Communication,Shuaibu Muhammad Angazy, “These signings and promotions reflect our dedication to competing at the highest level. We believe they will make a significant impact in our pursuit of promotion back to the NPFL.

The statement added that the club extended a warm welcome to the new players and congratulated the academy graduates on their transition to the senior team.
 “We are excited to see these young talents flourish and contribute to our success. Our fans' unwavering support continues to drive us forward, and we are optimistic about what lies ahead,” it concluded 

The signings are  Bidemi Owoko Samuel from Bendel Insurance, Abdullahi Muhammed Yayo from Zamfara United FC, Umar Musa Laduwa from Sokoto United FC, Daka Peter from Zamfara United FC, and free agent Abraham Audu.

The promoted players include Bello Muhammad Alhajiyel, Waleed Abdullahi Jika, and Abdulrazak Muhammad.
