Velocity Humanitarian Foundation Settle Outstanding Tuition Fees for Gombe Indigenous Students at GSU
Gombe, July 29, 2025 — In a significant move aimed at supporting education and youth development in Gombe State, the Velocity Humanitarian Foundation has announced its decision to pay the outstanding tuition fees of indigenous students studying at Gombe State University (GSU).
The Founder of the foundation, Engineer Aliyu Mohammed, made this known in a statement released to the press on Monday. According to him, the intervention will cover students who have either not paid at all or have made only partial payments toward their tuition.
“This initiative is not an act of charity; it is a moral obligation and a strategic investment in the potential of our youth and the development of Gombe State,” Engineer Aliyu stated.
He emphasized that the foundation is working closely with the university authorities to ensure a transparent and well-coordinated disbursement process. Further details, including eligibility criteria and application procedures, are expected to be communicated through official channels in the coming days.
Engineer Aliyu also urged the affected students to remain focused and optimistic. “To all affected students: remain focused, stay hopeful, and never stop striving. Your future is valid and worth every support,” he added.
The initiative has been widely praised by community members and stakeholders in the education sector as a timely relief to many families facing economic hardship.
