TSO Honours Velocity Humanitarian Foundation with Prestigious Award

The Tinubu Support Organization 
(TSO) has honoured Velocity Humanitarian Foundation and its founder Engr Aliyu Mohammed  with a prestigious award in recognition of their contributions to community service and support for the less privileged.

In a statement issued following the presentation, the award recipient, Engr Aliyu Mohammed (Kombat),expressed profound gratitude to the organisation and its Director-General, Honourable Aminu Suleiman, describing the recognition as both humbling and encouraging.

The recipient said the award serves as a strong motivation to continue promoting selfless service, compassion and dedication to humanity.

“We are truly honoured to be acknowledged for the work we do in touching lives and supporting the less privileged. This recognition is not just for us, but for every volunteer, partner and supporter who believes in the mission of service to humanity,” the statement said.

The foundation also commended the leadership and vision of the Tinubu Support Organisation for recognising impactful humanitarian efforts and encouraging individuals and groups committed to making a difference in society.

The Tinubu Support Organisation has continued to engage in initiatives aimed at promoting community development and supporting social impact programmes across the country.

The award recipient has, over the years, distinguished himself through consistent philanthropic gestures aimed at uplifting vulnerable members of society. His foundation has provided food items, educational materials, medical assistance and financial support to widows, orphans and low-income families, particularly during periods of economic hardship.

 Through targeted outreach programmes, he has also supported community-based initiatives designed to promote self-reliance and social inclusion.

Beyond material support, his philanthropy is driven by a commitment to restoring dignity and hope to disadvantaged individuals. By mobilising volunteers and partnering with like-minded organisations, he has sustained interventions that focus on compassion, empowerment and long-term impact. 

Beneficiaries and community leaders have commended his hands-on approach and unwavering dedication to improving lives at the grassroots level.

This year’s draws, conducted at Amdo Adore Event Center, Kaltugo,Kaltungo Local Government Area, brought together a record 64 football clubs drawn from across Kaltungo, Billiri, Balanga, and Shongom LGAs.
