Governor Yahaya Condoles With Gombe JIBWIS Chairman Over Loss Of Mother, Grandmother


Gombe state Governor,  Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON has joined hundreds of sympathisers to observe the funeral prayer for the late Hajiya Ummu Khulsum Musa and Aishatu Abdullahi, mother  and grandmother respectively of Chairman of Gombe State branch of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah wa Iqamatissunnah,JIBWIS, Engr Salisu Muhammad Gombe.  


Hajiya Umma died yesterday while  Aishatu passed away in the early hours of today in Gombe. 


The funeral prayer was conducted after the Juma’at congregational prayers at the Bolari Juma’at mosque, Gombe.


Governor Inuwa Yahaya in a condolence message, expressed grief over the demise of the two women, whom he described as family pillars and exemplary mothers who impacted positively on the lives and characters of their children and grand children.  


The Governor who noted that though death of loved ones could be very painful, especially coming almost at the same time, consoled the grieving family to take solace in the fact that both the late Hajiya Ummah and Aishatu left behind  lasting legacies of services to Almighty Allah and good characters through their offsprings, especially Sheikh Salisu Gombe whom Governor Inuwa described as a great and reputable islamic scholar and leader who preaches peace,  the words of Allah, and guide the Ummah.


Governor Inuwa extended the condolences of the government and people of Gombe State to Engr Salisu and other members of his family, praying Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings and reward their good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus.
