Indigenous Players Our Top Priority: Anas Bamusa, General Manager Gombe United Fc

The General Manager of Gombe United Football Club,Anas Bamusa says indigenous players will make bulk of the club's squad.

The former football Match Commissioner while making a remark during the  draws for 2024 Maiden Edition of Gombe State Nationwide League Football Clubs Pre-season Competition, assured that his management board will leave no stone unturned towards signing and injecting indigenous players into the club.

According to him, indigenous players have always been the driving force and nucleus of the Savannah Scorpions through out its existence, hence the need to bring back the lost glory of the club.

" I want to assure you that we're going to monitor this Pre-season Competition with keen interest,so as to pick the most outstanding players who would be integrated into Gombe United ".

"We 've been contacting and consulting veteran football administrators ,ex players and major stakeholders since our appointment by his Excellency Governor Inuwa Yahaya ,OON ,the Dan Majen Gombe, with a view to tapping from their wealth of experience for the overall success of the club 

The Gado da Masun Kwami, explained that his doors are always open for advice and positive critism, calling for prayers from all football enthusiasts; fans and supporters as well as the good people of Gombe State for the club to return to its rightful place, that's the Premier League.

Gombe United are drawn in group C of the NNL Northern Conference alongside Sokoto United , Zamfara United ,Barau ,Mighty Jets , Wikki Tourist and Mailantarki Care.

This year’s draws, conducted at Amdo Adore Event Center, Kaltugo,Kaltungo Local Government Area, brought together a record 64 football clubs drawn from across Kaltungo, Billiri, Balanga, and Shongom LGAs.
